A lot of times I feel pressured to be doing something every single second of the day, every day of the week.

The last three to four months of my life have been extremely boring to be honest. There has been some travel mixed in, quite a bit of physical fitness, but then a whole lot of nothing.

Todays entry would have been:

I woke up to my annoying alarm that I had intentionally set way too early. My sister and I had decided to go to the Gilbert Farmer's Market that morning. There's been an excessive heat warning in effect the past few days, and today was not an exception. We got to the market around 8am. It was already hot out, and I could feel the sweat dripping from my face before we had even walked around the corner of the first tents. We took a few laps around the market in order to size up possible competition for our money and hungry bellies. We decided to split up and order food from different food trucks, with the intention to split whatever we got. I chose a lemon curd crepe, while Sam went for a more traditional breakfast burrito. Both were great, but we felt ourselves cooking in the heat while we munched. We proceeded to pick up a few more things, and then made our way back to the house.

The heat must have taken a toll on me because I proceeded to take a 3 hour nap. I believe that three hours still constitutes a nap, although some may take issue on that. I definitely slept too long. I was groggy for awhile. Once I was fully awake, I had decided to venture out of the house to browse JCPennys and then hit the gym. Luckily, I found another pair of running shorts and I had a 10 reward so the shorts were only 3 dollars. I then proceeded to talk myself into going to the gym since I was already out, and in my workout clothes. I really didn't want to go. But once I walked in, I was able to focus and get what I needed done. It was a good workout. I feel like I've been in a slump for a few weeks now, so it was nice that I was able to get a good sweat on while feeling productive.

I rushed home after the gym so that I could get ready to go to dinner with my parents and family friends. It was a nice dinner, but I'm finding that I prefer to cook myself what I want to eat.

Then we came home, and now I am writing this blog post because I've literally watched every show on Netflix.

Obviously there are micro-stories that I've left out that occurred throughout the day. It would be rather boring if I dove into every detail.

This type of day in not uncommon. I'm just waiting around for the email about my police academy start date. Then I'll be wishing that my days were as boring as this.
